A night of dub, reggae, latin and funk following on from the Resistance Conference [link], with money raised going to the Bristol Defend Asylum Seekers Campaign.
Saturday 26th May 2001. Unite!, St Nicholas House, St Nicholas Street, Bristol.
After a day of ideas raining down thick and fast, it was great to have some time to chat to people met during the day and some space to get down and dance about. Although I don’t remember the names of the DJs who played in the main room, (email Bristolbeat if you do!) they set the tone for lively times, complemented by more chilled out vibes in the front room during the earlier part of the evening… don’t know what time people finally left, but late enough to prove the night’s success!
